University of Turku

INVEST research flagship centre (https://invest.utu.fi/) at the University of Turku and Finnish Centre for Health and Welfare is a multidisciplinary center (e.g., sociology, psychology, child psychiatry, social policy) and one of Finnish research flagships funded by the Research Council of Finland. INVEST stands for Inequalities, Interventions, and the New Welfare State, and our mission is to study and improve equal opportunities for well-being and learning especially among children and youth. Bullying is one of the focal themes within INVEST; we have developed the Kiva antibullying program which is currently widely implemented in Finland and beyond (www.kivaprogram.net).
